Mission
Maharashtra NGO Samiti has a mission to promote social justice, achieve sustainable development and raise awareness about human rights. We support freedom of expression and consider it a fundamental human right to advance the cause of sustainable development. That is why we provide free access to all information required before taking important decisions at all levels. We are committed to providing information and making it easily accessible so that the marginalized and underrepresented sections of society can benefit from it, thereby boosting sustainable development initiatives. There is a huge data gap between the backward and the affluent tech-savvy sections of society. Maharashtra NGO Samiti aims to bridge this data gap and emerge as a trusted and secure source of information.
Vision
Maharashtra NGO Samiti Network is on a mission to support the emerging civil society in India by providing resources to drive socio-economic development in the country. We are on a mission to build the capacity of NGOs in Maharashtra by providing them with consultancy, training and guidance on various organizational as well as management issues. We advocate for peace, reconciliation and cooperation among all NGOs and for this we provide a platform to facilitate dialogue and intercultural communication among them. We create links between local CSOs and international NGOs which supports Indian civil society in their decision-making processes and in the field of education. Maharashtra NGO Samiti Network works with organizations from India and its neighboring countries to collaborate with each other and work for mutual benefit.
